Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida

The Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida is able to help approximately 700 people each day, including men, women and children. As one of the few emergency shelters that accept intact families in Central Florida, they see a large number of families in need of shelter and support. On any given night, the Coalition provides services to over 220 children, with a current average age of 10 years old. Last year, the Coalition served more than 302,000 meals.

Help-Portrait

Founded by Celebrity Photographer Jeremy Cowart, Help-Portrait is a community of photographers, coming together across the world to use their photography skills to give back to their local community. Each December, photographers around the world will be grabbing their cameras, finding people in need and taking their picture. When the prints are ready, the photographs get delivered. This is about GIVING the pictures, not taking them. These portraits are not for photographer's portfolios, websites, or for sale. Money isn't involved here. Help-Portrait is about giving photographers the opportunity to give back to their communities.

ARK Animal Rescue and Education Center

I am an avid animal lover and support organizations that offer "no kill" rescue services to our precious fur babies. All of my animals are rescues, and my most recent addition is Harley Quinn (photo to the left), who was adopted from ARK.

ARK is a non-profit organization that provides medical services for injured wildlife, and medical and adoption services for abandoned or surrendered dogs, cats, birds, and exotics.

ARK works with Volusia County's animal control personnel and the Florida Wildlife and Game Commission in rescuing wildlife. Through presentations and written material the ARK educates the public regarding the responsible care and protection of all animals.

I am now offering Pet Portrait Sessions, and 5% of any proceeds from the session will be donated to ARK or the animal shelter in your county (as long as it is a no kill shelter).
