My Lifestyle Portrait Sessions are so much more fun and creative than the "canned" session you get in a run of the mill inside studio shoot, where everyone's shots seem to be the same. Same boring poses...same boring props...same boring backdrops.

My sessions are customized specifically for my clients, to reflect their real personalities, likes, and interests. Shot in bright, beautiful locations, or "grungy" ones, which incidentally can make for great photographs, my photography style is to concentrate on you and your individual personality, not on worrying about wrinkles in a backdrop, using the proper indoor lighting setup, or rushing you out the door so the next client can have the studio for their "time slot." My creation fee covers my time and talent in photographing, color correcting, and beautifully post-processing your personal portrait session images. Depending on the session package you purchase, you may receive a CD/DVD of hi-resolution edited images, and a photographer's print release.

You will be able to purchase, directly from your online gallery, professional quality photo lab prints. Also available are custom designed press printed photo books and flush mount albums, gallery wraps, metal prints, WallCollage collections, speciality printed items for senior pictures, and many other custom photo products. These items can be purchased "ala cart" and are all produced by my professional quality photo lab. However, I never require you purchase anything additional in order to book a session with me.

My creation fee for your session includes:*

• 1 to 1.5 hour session, on location, in setting of your choice, to reflect your personal style, talents or interests
  
  
• Wardrobe changes, if venue choice permits
  
  
• At least 20-30 hand-crafted, fully color corrected, and edited proofs, uploaded to a private 90 day online gallery for you to share with family and friends
  
  
• Professional lab prints, beautiful press-printed coffee table photo books, custom designed albums, gallery wraps and more available to purchase ala carte, but are not required to book your session with me
  
  
• Permission to share individual images, from your online gallery, which will contain our photographer's watermark, with family and friends online or on Facebook, MySpace, blogs, etc. We make the watermark discreet, so as not to interfere with your images, so please do not attempt to remove it. Images are low-res, web use only, and will NOT reproduce well for print use, but are the desired format for sharing online
  
  
• Depending on the session package you purchase, it may include a physical CD/DVD of hi-res versions of the images in your gallery, along with a photographer's release, for personal use and printing at your favorite photo lab. These hi-res photos do not contain any watermarks and are suitable for printing and framing

Pricing Your Photographer

Keep in mind, when pricing out a photographer, that shooting the pictures is only about 1/4 of the work involved in making your memories special. There is a lot of other "behind the scenes" work that a client never sees, such as culling through the many photographs that are taken, organizing the images, general processing and editing of each photo, special touch ups, processing, and special treatments of photographer or client picks, preparing images for transfer to CD or DVD for the client, and then preparing them to be uploaded into an online gallery that can be shared with family and friends.

Generally for every hour a photographer spends shooting your session or event, there are another three hours involved in processing and behind the scenes work. So, if your photographer is spending two hours on a shoot with you, they are really spending up to eight hours (or more) total on your job! If a photographer is shooting a session for a rock bottom, budget price, I would question how much time they are really putting in to the backend work involved in making your photographic memories as beautiful as they can be!

Location Shooting

All portrait sessions are held on location, in your home, or setting of your choice, within a 30 mile area of West Volusia County, Florida. (Beyond that area additional fees may be incurred for travel time.) My standard service area includes most of Seminole and Volusia counties, as well as parts of Orange, Flager, Lake, and surrounding counties.

Proofing

Proofs from your photo session will be made available in a private, password protected, online gallery for you to review within approximately 7-10 days of session. We will also post some "photographer's picks" as sneak peeks on our Blog, Facebook page, and website, so you can start to see, and share, some of your images, before the final gallery is ready to preview. You can give the password to family and friends who might like to see them as well. Galleries will be available for at least 90 days for review.

Lifestyle Photography Retainer Fee

A 50% non-refundable retainer on your photography session must be prepaid by check, PayPal (for Visa or MasterCard), money order, or cash to reserve your session date, and the balance must be paid by or on the day of the shoot. All session fees are non-refundable after shoot has been completed.

Should the day of the session come with bad weather, or less than ideal shooting conditions, we will reschedule at your convenience. Should you need to reschedule a session due to unforeseeable circumstances, please try to give us 48 hours notice, so we can reassign your slot to another photography client.

"No shows" on the day of the session will not receive a refund of their session fee and will need to reschedule with a new session fee. Please understand that I have slotted a time for your session and when you don't show up, that is a time that could have been used for another client's session, so it costs us money in the event that you don't show.
