Maternity PhotographsWedding Collections

Wedding packages can vary greatly, depending on the needs of the couple and families involved, I offer packages for most budgets, starting as low as $999, for a basic "mini" collection, and starting at $1249 for standard colllections.

Because I know weddings are such a personal thing, I do like to talk with my potential brides to determine what type of services they are looking for on their special day, so that I can assist them in choosing a Wedding Collection that will meet up to their expectations and needs for their special day.

I carry many available beautiful add-ons to my collections, including Wedding Albums, Photo Books, Fine Art Prints, professional lab prints, and much more, as well as additional photo coverage such as the Rehearsal Dinner, Engagement Sessions (included in some collections), Trash the Dress or Day After Sessions, and/or Formal Bridal Portraits.

I am also available for destination and "out of area" weddings. Most Collections can be customized to suit your particular wants and needs, as well. Please feel free to contact me so we can discuss your special day, make sure I am available on your date, get pricing on all of my collections, and create a wedding package that includes everything you desire to document it!

Wedding Photography Add On Packages and Sessions

Engagement Session

Engagement Photo Sessions with the couple are a great way to have pictures taken of the two of you, to share when you announce your engagement. These photography sessions have become more popular with today's newly engaged couples. Engagement Sessions no longer have to be dry and traditional. They can be shot on location, at the venue of your choice, allow you and the photographer to be creative, and are more trendy and fun than in days past.

They are also great sessions for getting to know your photographer and making sure you are a good fit with each other, before the "big day" arrives! If you have not yet selected a photographer, an engagement photo session is the perfect opportunity to test the waters and preview my work. Then you can then decide if you want to make the bigger investment by choosing me to shoot your wedding.

Sessions generally last about two hours and are shot on location. Some couples even like to go back to the original place they proposed to do their shoot! Some of our Wedding Collections may include a free Engagement Session. If you book an Engagement Session only, and then decide later to book me for your wedding, I will credit 1/2 of the cost of the creation fee for the engagement shoot towards your wedding collection!

Bridal Portrait Session

Bridal Portraits are a time-honored tradition that feature the bride only and are taken a few days, or even weeks, prior to the wedding day. They are more formal sessions, which will allow the bride to have pictures of her in her wedding dress taken, at a more leisurely pace than what she would normally get on her wedding day.

If you are a bride who isn't particularly photogenic or who is picky about how you look in pictures, this is an opportunity to really get your best angle without an impatient groom or family member rushing you on the wedding day. Years later when your groom has your portrait on his desk, you'll be glad you got it right!

It is recommended that your hair and makeup be professionally done before this session. This also offers you the opportunity to give your hair and makeup a "trial run" before the big day. Sessions generally last about two hours and are shot on location, at either an indoor or outdoor venue of the bride's choosing. Some of our Wedding Collections may include a free Bridal Portrait Session.

Trash the Dress Session

Trash the Dress Sessions, also known as Fearless Bridal or Rock the Frock, are fun sessions, featuring the couple in their wedding or formal clothing, contrasted in an environment in which it is out of place. Sessions are usually shot on the beach or water, on downtown city streets, in garbage dumps, fields, junk yards, or abandoned buildings. Anything that provides a cool and funky contrast to the formal wedding clothing.

They are done as an additional shoot after the wedding, almost as a declaration that the wedding is done and the dress will not be used again. It is seen as an alternative to storing the dress away, never to be seen again. However, some brides and grooms opt not to use their actual wedding attire and will purchase formal attire at Goodwill or second hand stores, so they can really get them "grunged" up, wet, or whatever! The sessions are super fun and totally non-traditional. Sessions generally last about two hours. Some of our Wedding Collections may include a free Trash the Dress Session.

Rehearsal Dinner Coverage {3 hours of candid coverage}

Next to the pomp and fanfare of the wedding day, the rehearsal dinner has historically gone undocumented by many couples. Without photographs of the evening, it's been treasured only in the memories of those who attended it. Or, even worse, it has been documented by family members with small point and shoot cameras that provide, at best, grainy pictures in low light situations these dinners tend to produce.

I offer a photo-journalistic coverage of the Rehearsal Dinner events, so you can tell the entire "story" of your wedding weekend. The wedding event is not only about the one big day, but it was also about the preliminary events. The images of the guests coming face to face for the first time, the expressions of anticipation, the excitement that fills the eve of the wedding: all of these moments are important and memorable. An online picture gallery will be created for the dinner, with a link which you can send guests, both those that were at the dinner and those that were not able to attend, for viewing the pictures after the wedding.

Additional Hourly Coverage on Wedding Day

Decide you need to schedule more time than originally allotted? Not a problem. I offer additional hourly coverage at a flat hourly rate. This rate covers both the shooting time and post-processing of an hour's worth of extra images.

Additional Information

Pricing Your Photographer

Keep in mind, when pricing out a photographer, that shooting the pictures is only about 1/4 of the work involved in making your memories special. There is a lot of other "behind the scenes" work that a client never sees, such as culling through the many photographs that are taken, organizing the images, general processing and editing of each photo, special touch ups, processing, and special treatments of photographer or client picks, preparing images for transfer to CD or DVD for the client, and then preparing them to be uploaded into an online gallery that can be shared with family and friends.

Generally for every hour a photographer spends shooting your session or event, there are another three hours involved in post-processing and behind the scenes work. So, if your photographer is spending two hours on a shoot with you, they are really spending up to eight hours (or more) total on your job! If a photographer is shooting a wedding for a rock bottom, budget price, I would question how much time they are really putting in on the backend work that is involved in making your photographic memories from such an important day as beautiful as they can be!

How Much Time Do You Need For Your Photographer On Your Wedding Day?

When planning for your wedding and the amount of wedding day photography coverage you want, please take into account the shots that are important to you. Some brides want full coverage, including their preparation prior to the ceremony, as well as the reception aftewards, along with standard "formal" family and bridal party shots, while other brides simply care about the "formal" shots and not much about the rest. Some brides even prefer more coverage at the reception, or a totally photojournalistic type of coverage, and could care less about the formals. It is all in your personal taste and style, as to how you want your wedding shot.

However, when looking at the number of hours to schedule, keep in mind that wedding days do not run on a "perfect timeline." There are always things that can throw a wrench in the day, so be sure to allot extra time for such events. I have yet to see one wedding that runs totally on time! Contact me and I am sure I will be able to accomodate your expectations of the coverage you want on your special day.

Proofing

Proofs from your photo session will be made available in a private, password protected, online gallery for you to review within approximately 30 days of wedding. We will also post some "photographer's picks" as sneak peeks on our Blog, Facebook page, and website, so you can start to see, and share, some of your images, before the final gallery is ready to preview. You can give the password to family and friends who might like to see them as well. Galleries will be available for at least 90 days for review.

Wedding Retainer Fee

Wedding bookings require a non-refundable retainer of 1/3 at time of booking, to reserve your date and lock it in, 1/3 a month prior to wedding, and the final payment the week prior to the event. All weddings must be paid for in full, before the wedding day.

Your retainer can be prepaid by check, PayPal (for Visa or MasterCard), money order, or cash to reserve your date. Until the first payment has been made, and the wedding contract has been signed and returned, the date is open and available to potential clients. Once the contract and retainer are received, the date is no longer open, and is locked in specifically for your event.

Contact me to schedule a photography consultation today!

Prices are subject to change without notice. Your pricing is secure once your wedding is
booked, and your retainer and signed Wedding Photography Contract have been received.
Prices do not include Florida state sales tax, which is additional.
